Interesting post about PG&E and the threat from solar. If any utilities have positioned themselves to be taken down, I agree with the author that PG&E will have a long battle on its hands. The rate structures, average rates and high demand charges make both commercial and residential customers look towards solar for cost relief. Surely, the next step will be legislative change attempts from the utilities, let’s see how this plays out.
