We almost always talk about PV without mentioning much about solar thermal. While net metering for PV was a big deal in Arizona, it appears that solar thermal is making quite the impact as well. In Florida a typical 5kW could save a family $75-$100 per month while a $5,000 solar thermal install saves about $50-$75 per month. The financial benefit is there, why isn’t the market as well?
