Solar had a great year, last 18 months exceeded last previous 30 years. Almost 20% more solar jobs with over 140,000 solar workers. All of this still amounts to an industry that is politically struggling. State level policies are going strong, our industry’s grassroots has been phenomenal but one look at the Obama budget showed a lack of respect for our national presence. SEIA stepped up and rebuked the proposal, as an ITC extension should be the requirement as long as oil and gas maintain their tax credits and subsidies.
